We Rock the Spectrum Southwest Dallas is powered by Metrocare!
Metrocare is the largest provider of mental health, developmental disability, and permanent-supported housing services in Dallas County, serving approximately 50,000 children, teens, and adults annually. In addition to providing a broad array of services including mental health care, primary care, veteran services, accessible pharmacies, and homeless outreach, Metrocare is also the Local and Intellectual Developmental (IDD) Disability Authority for Dallas County—serving as the front door to coordinate all publicly funded IDD programs.
Metrocare also offers certain developmental disability programs for adults and children, including Early Childhood Intervention, Flourishing Families, Career Design & Development Services, and two specialty autism clinics in Dallas and DeSoto.
Metrocare upholds the person-centered philosophy, providing care and services which focus on the needs of each individual we serve. We are eager to add We Rock the Spectrum Southwest Dallas to our service offerings—providing a safe, welcoming, and fun place for those in the community who need it.
